Redevelopment of the former Bell Green Gas Works for subsequent re-use as retail space. The project, which has only recently received planning permission, includes extensive remediation of the site in addition to the normal redevelopment duties.
PCS Consulting Engineers are now employed directly by the developer on this project to provide expert advice on the engineering issues and site remediation.
2004 - 2006
Provision of a new out of town retail development. Total floor area of 160,000 sq ft. Tenants include, Next, Boots and Marks & Spencer. Developer - Cranford Developments Ltd.
PCS Consulting Engineers were employed as the client's monitoring engineer during the design and build contract.
2006 - Ongoing
A new 100,000 sq ft retail development on very difficult ground, potential settlement of the external works has been a major design consideration.

This new retail development comprises 125,000 sq ft of comparison goods retailing. Engineering issues include a major cut and fill exercise in weathered chalk and consideration of existing sewers and fuel lines which cross the site.

A new 105,000 sq ft manufacturing and office facility for Instarmac. This development includes a purpose designed 30m high process building to house the manufacturing equipment on seven levels. Now on site with completion due August 2007.
2005 - Ongoing
This development provides new accommodation for high dependency elderly patients, in a purpose built extension. The works also include the refurbishment of the existing Grade II listed Georgian House which forms part of the nursing home. Completeion is expected in 2008 with a contract value of £1.2million.
2006 - Ongoing
A new 116,000 sq ft development comprising two high quality office buildings, together with the refurbishment of a listed Victorian Public House to provide further ancillary accommodation.
